Personality
Michishirube (called “Michi” for short) is generally pleasant and happy most of the time to most people. Despite this, she tends to be condescending to those she thinks are inferior to her, including EarthAngel from time to time. She can be very childish sometimes, being hyper and having the occasional temper tantrum when she doesn’t get her way. She has developed a habit of feeling the tattoo on her arm when she’s nervous, and tries to re-assure others that everything is all right even if things have gone awry. She also can’t really recognize when she’s absolutely needed, ex: The other Elemental Angels cannot reach their weapons and attack or are dead, and she’s the only one left standing to attack. She won’t realize this unless one of the other Elemental Angels yells to her.
As Sailor WaterAngel, she’s generally timid, despite that she’s one of the avatars of one of the “main” three gods (Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades). While her attacks are powerful, she’s afraid to use them, for fear of hurting someone under then the intended target. She comes through eventually, but it takes a lot for her to even make an effort. She prefers just to go with the flow of orders, and will follow almost any order FireAngel will give her, if need be.

Physical Appearance
Eyes: Light orange
Hair: Light navy blue. It’s golden-tipped and goes down to her waist, but she usually keeps it in two braided loops on either side of her head.
Height: 5’ 6”
Build: She’s particularly toned, giving the impression that she’s a model. Like the other Angels, however, she’s stronger than she seems and can lift up to 100 pounds easily.
Attitude: Generally pleasant, very even-tempered, but can be very snappy and childish.
Special Markings: “Sampi” tattoo on the back of her neck.

Henshin Phrase: “Power of Poseidon… Revive Me!” She throws the PoseidonWater Brooch above her head, where it spins in place, and says the phrase. A giant crack opens in the ground and a tsunami (a wave caused by seismic activity, not a tidal wave) rushes from the ground and crashes into Michi. As soon as it hits her, it turns into a cyclone and starts funneling into the sky. A pair of giant gold wings appears on either side of the cyclone and snap shut, causing the cyclone to disappear. They cover Michi entirely then burst apart, revealing a fully transformed WaterAngel.
Attacks/Powers:
“Poseidon Trident Cyclone!”- She raises her trident above her head and says “Poseidon Trident”, spinning the trident around. She stops spinning it so that the three points point behind her, then she brings her trident down swiftly to point at the target and says “Cyclone!” A giant cyclone, or a tornado of water, slams into the enemy, causing it to either be crushed and/or drown. If it manages to survive the initial attack, it will die from falling after being sucked up and then the cyclone dispersing.
“Poseidon Trident Blast!”- She simply points her trident at the target and says the phrase, causing a blue beam of energy to hit the enemy, causing it to shatter into a million golden shards.
“Power of Poseidon… -Strenghten Me!”- A power-up henshin that can only be used when she’s Sailor WaterAngel. She holds her trident out in frount of her, her left hand in the middle of the handle and the right spread behind the prongs. She starts to chant in Greek then says the phrase. A cyclone slams into her, then subsides and hardens to ice. Blue cracks appear, and then the ice bursts apart to reveal Celestial Sailor WaterAngel
Call upon Poseidon- She is generally forbidden to do this unless it is absolutely needed. She can call upon Poseidon for assistance at will.

Mission: To first stop Sailor Hecate from destroying all of the future, prophesized avatars (by taking their Power Scroll from them), then to diminish her powers to the point that Selene can seal her into the moon again.

How she became a senshi: Like the other Angels, she was born an avatar on Olympus. Hespetsut forged her Poseidon Trident, which is infused with the power of the seas and Poseidon himself. She has been a senshi all her life, and can only die in honorary battle. Unless she is stricken down by a mortal weapon (sword, arrow, spear, etc) she will never die.

History
Past
As the rest of the avatars, she was "born" on Olympus at Poseidon's request. Being the avatar of one of the "main" three gods, she was (and still is) held to stightly higher standards then the rest.

Nerei led the simplest of lives compared to the other Angels, mostly overseeing to the passages of man over the sea. She didn't like that Poseidon would just randomly inflict his wrath on undeserving seamen, but she obviously coudln't do anything about it (as a result, it gave her a bit of an attitude towards Poseidon, although she never said anything to his face). She never actually dealed with humans directly, but rather, the creatures in the ocean moreso, which would make their reports to her. Overall she thought the job was menial and barely fit work for an avatar of her power and status.

After the battle with Hecate she wasn't as weak as the other avatars (save Melai (WindAngel), but it was more that Poseidon caught onto her attitude and thought sealing her in the Earth would teach her her lesson. After getting permission from Zues, he sealed her, making it so that she couldn't leave for a certain amount of time, or if Hecate was to escape (whichever came first). Nerei was actually released about a thousand years ahead of schedual.

Present
Like the other Angels, she ended up in Japan and now attends Juuban High School. Because of the nature of her sealing, she forgot how much power she really had and became very timid and small-minded (as in, she was afraid to learn/try anything new). Out of the Angels, she hates the new time the most and wants to return to ancient Greece.
